If it is he / she / it / singular, the verb usually takes s/es in affirmative Present Simple sentences.

Why Is It Wrong?
Don't simply correct the sentence. Explain the reason.
Incorrect
β She don't understand me.

β She doesn't understand me.
Why?
Because she is third-person singular.
With does/doesn't, the main verb returns to its base form.
β She doesn't understands.
